Hi, I'm Aimee Bateman

EXITED FOUNDER & CERTIFIED COACH

After ten years in corporate watching talented people stay stuck, I decided to build my previous business.

In 2010 I founded Careercake. What started as my YouTube channel became a venture backed E-learning company. Voted the UK's No.1 career development platform, our training reached over 10 million professionals across 42 countries before being acquired in 2022.

I won awards that sat in a box under my bed. Because somewhere deep down I didn't believe I deserved them.

The strategy and the commercials, that was the part I could do. It was the inner work that was the hardest.

I did what so many founders do. I built the business before I built myself. And you can only build a business as big as what you believe you deserve. At some point you feel it. Even if you cannot yet name it.

After I sold Careercake I trained as a coach — partly to understand why the journey had felt so hard when it looked so good from the outside, but also to help other women enjoy building their business so much more than I did.

That is why I do this work. And it is the most important work I have ever done.
